BBSI is currently accepting resumes for a Security System Installation Technician for permanent placement with a client in Idaho Falls, ID. As an Installation Technician, you will assist with the installation, service and monitoring of business and residential security systems. Systems include burglar and fire alarms, 24/7 video surveillance, controlled access and more. You will be responsible to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, clients and co-workers.
•Install and program new alarm and security systems including AV components and low voltage devices
•Run and terminate various types of cabling
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
•Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
•Train customers in the use of the system
•Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
•Monitor inventory of service parts
•Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
•Attention to details
•Familiarity with hand and power tools
•Ability to handle physical workload
•Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
•Strong attention to detail
•Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
This is a full-time position with core hours of 8:00-5:00 Monday - Friday, though exceptions to this schedule may be required based on the needs of the customer.
Compensation starts at $11.00/hour DOE
